Founded in April 2018, Taylor & Sons Drainage is a small family business. Marc Taylor and his two sons Leroy & Jerome bring a wealth of practical experience in all aspects of drainage work. They have worked together on some big projects while Marc held a foreman’s position at Earthtech Construction Ltd. Some of these include:
- Christchurch SCIRT work. This involved full sewer and storm water replacements, to earthquake damaged drains in several streets in Christchurch’s Eastern suburbs.
- Christchurch Southern Motorway project. Extensive infrastructure work on stage one upgrade. Installing culverts, subsoil systems and concrete storm water mains, catch pits and manholes.
- Drainage infrastructure work for residential subdivisions in Christchurch and Rolleston.
In 2014 Marc and his sons started at a local plumbing and drainage company. It was over the next 4 years that they honed their systems and processes in the residential and commercial sector. These years of development have laid the foundation and given Taylor & Sons Drainage a distinct edge over other high staff turnover drainage companies. Marc has employed his daughter, Phoebe to do advertising and marketing. Step son, Perry in the office and tech. Partner and co-director, Katherine Swain, Health & Safety. Finesi, Phoebe’s partner, labourer. This makes Taylor & Sons Drainage Ltd a true family business.
Hi, My name is Marc Taylor. I have been laying drains in Canterbury since 1992. I have a very broad range of experience in the industry. My sons have worked alongside me since 2012. We have great systems and a strong family team that adds ‘love’ to our work which is hard to replicate in other non-family run businesses. I have a keen eye for detail, uniformity and order. This is reflected in our workmanship and echoed in our testimonials.
